The 2010 Mark of Excellence Award reads "Chevrolet Honors our finest Dealers who have committed themselves to unsurpassed performance and customer satisfaction." Only the top 200 Chevrolet dealers in the nation (out of 3,000) are awarded the Mark of Excellence trophy from General Motors. Once again, Jim Ellis Chevrolet has attained this prestigious award. The Mark of Excellence is won by achieving high-volume sales and high customer satisfaction scores as reported by sales and service customers.

Jim Ellis Automotive is celebrating its 40th anniversary and in fact, is probably one of the "award-winningest" dealers in Georgia. Between the thirteen dealerships and central collision center, Jim Ellis' trophy case is rather full with consistent awards from all of the brands that the company represents.
