Teachers Keep Us Moving
Jim Ellis Automotive Group, Russell “Block” Spencer, Greg Street & V-103 Launch Teachers Keep Us Moving Campaign Across Georgia
Jim Ellis Automotive Group has partnered with community leader Russell “Block” Spencer, Atlanta radio icon Greg Street, and legendary radio station V-103 to launch Teachers Keep Us Moving, a statewide educator appreciation initiative honoring teachers across Georgia for their lasting impact on students and communities.
The campaign was developed by Ralph Sorrentino, vice president of Jim Ellis Chevrolet, as a way to meaningfully support educators who help prepare the next generation of leaders. After outlining the vision for the program, Sorrentino shared the concept with Spencer and Street, who immediately embraced the mission and joined in, bringing it to life on a statewide level.
“Teachers Keep Us Moving began with a simple idea — finding a real, tangible way to support the educators who shape our future every day,” said Ralph Sorrentino, Vice President of Jim Ellis Chevrolet. “When I shared the vision with Russell ‘Block’ Spencer and Greg Street, it quickly became a collaborative effort rooted in a shared respect for teachers and their impact. This campaign reflects what can happen when community leaders come together with purpose.”
Throughout the month of February, the Jim Ellis Chevrolet Service Van will visit schools across Georgia, surprising selected teachers with complimentary oil changes and tire rotations.
Educators can be nominated by students, parents, and school administrators who want to recognize the difference teachers make both inside and outside the classroom.

“Teachers are a vital part of every community,” said Russell “Block” Spencer. “They don’t just teach — they inspire, guide, and protect our children. This initiative is about showing appreciation in a way that truly matters.”
With the support of V-103 and Greg Street, the campaign will spotlight exceptional educators across Atlanta and throughout the state of Georgia, sharing their stories and celebrating the role they play in shaping future generations.
“Teachers really do keep us moving — in every sense of the word,” said Greg Street. “This campaign turns appreciation into action, and I’m proud to be part of something that genuinely gives back.”
Nominations are open throughout the month of February, and selected teachers will be contacted directly to schedule their onsite service visit. Teachers may be nominated at www.jimellischevrolet.com/teachers-keep-us-moving/.
“This initiative reflects the core values of Jim Ellis Automotive Group — community, service, and commitment,” said Sorrentino. “Our service vans will be on the road with purpose, delivering gratitude to the people who help build our future every single day.”
Students deserve something special. That’s why Jim Ellis provides the GM Educator Appreciation offer. It’s the most inclusive educator offer from any car company, and it can be combined with most other current offers on the purchase or lease of eligible, new Chevrolet vehicles.
